New Admissions
New Admission to any Sussex College Network (all 20 schools) is competitive and parents who wish to enroll their children at Sussex must inquire from the respective school regarding vacancies ahead of the closing date for applications.
This information can be obtained by relevant school telephone number or general hotline. If vacancies exist for the required grade, the parents and the child should visit the respective school and meet the Admin Officer by prior appointment. Appointments will be allowed between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Following the interview an admission test will be conducted and if all criteria are fulfilled an application form will be issued by the school.
Admission Criteria
The age limits for other grades are indicated in the table.

A child should be less than 18 years to join a grade 11 class. If a child exceeds the required age for a particular grade he / she may be denied admission. The Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar General’s Department of Sri Lanka is the only document the school accepts to confirm the age of the child.
How to Apply?
1. Make an Appointment
Parents can have an interactive session with the Admin Officer between 8.30 am -4 30 pm (All 20 Colleges). The officers will guide you on the entire process of admission and answer all your queries related to the curriculum, admissions, and Sussex College Network. A registration fee is required for the next step. They will also take you for a tour of the school, if desired.
2. Interview and Test
We assess your child through a personal interview and a written test. We communicate to you within 2 working days, the results of your child’s application for admission.
3. Submit the Admission Form
Once your child is shortlisted for selection, you'd need to submit all the relevant documents and a duly signed admission form disclosing all facts concerning the child, within the latest prescribed date
4. Pay the Fees
You confirm admission by paying the requisite fee – Admission fees as prescribed, Term fee, ICT Lab fee. You enroll your child.
